Terms of Service

Rules for using IPRapid network diagnostic tools, website and public endpoints.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to the website, network diagnostic tools and public endpoints offered under the IPRapid brand at iprapid.com (together, the Service). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service provides

The Service can display the public IP address visible to it, look up an IP address you submit, show approximate network and geolocation data, test IPv4 or IPv6 connectivity, and perform browser-based DNS or WebRTC leak checks. Results are provided for general informational and diagnostic purposes. They are not identity verification, legal, security, financial or emergency advice.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only lawfully and in a way that does not harm the Service or others. You must not:

  • attack, overload, disrupt, scan or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or another system;
  • circumvent rate limits, access controls or technical safeguards;
  • use results to harass, track, discriminate against or make high-impact decisions about a person;
  • submit unlawful content or use the Service to violate privacy, intellectual-property or other rights;
  • misrepresent Service output as proof of a person's identity or exact physical location.

4. Automated access and rate limits

Public endpoints may be accessed by scripts and command-line clients within published and response-header limits. We may throttle, reject or temporarily block abusive or unusually heavy traffic. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, no usage quota, endpoint or response format is guaranteed permanently.

5. Accuracy and data sources

IP ownership, ASN, ISP and geolocation records can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Locations are approximate and may describe a network gateway rather than a device or person. Connectivity and leak tests also depend on browser, resolver, proxy, VPN and network behavior. Data-source attribution shown with the Service forms part of these Terms.

6. Availability and changes

The Service may be changed, suspended or discontinued, and maintenance or faults may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a service-level objective, preservation of lookup history or compatibility with every client.

7. Ownership

The Service software, presentation and original materials are protected by applicable rights. Third-party datasets, marks and software remain subject to their own notices and licenses. These Terms give you a limited, revocable right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of data, profits or opportunity, or decisions made from Service output. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

10. Enforcement and termination

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, investigate abuse or enforce these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply.

11. Changes and disputes

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and changing the last-updated date. Continued use after an update means acceptance where permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction of competent courts are not displaced by these Terms. Contact us before filing a dispute so we can try to resolve it.
